Every year, like clockwork, Dr. Frank C. Derratt is one of the first businesspersons to register for the Los Angeles Black Business Expo.
For the past 11 years, he and his trademark life-sized human spine have been a welcome staple to the Expo floor.
Why does he keep coming back?
“It gives me an opportunity to reach out to the community and share the benefits of natural health care through chiropractic,” said Dr. Derratt. He gives complimentary spinal screenings to Expo attendees who stop by his booth.
“Alignment of the spine results in the nervous system functioning at its optimal potential. My goal is to make people aware that the pain they have in their backs, necks and shoulders may be due to the fact that their posture is off. When there are vertebrae out of alignment, it causes tension on the nerves of the spine.
“No one will be refused if they have a sincere desire to receive chiropractic care,” said Dr. Derratt.
