Black Business Expo Re-Scheduled for May 1-3, 2009
The Los Angeles Black Business Expo’s (BBX) 20th Anniversary Reunion has been re-scheduled for May 1 – 3 at the Los Angeles Convention Center ’s Tom Bradley Hall, according to Harold Hambrick, BBX President.
Originally scheduled for September 5 – 7, the new dates “provide additional time to implement our new BBX branding strategy and an opportunity to pursue some of the new trends and practices beneficial for African American businesses.” said Hambrick. “We plan to continue collaborating with businesses and organizations on new BBX-themed events of particular relevance to consumers in our community, especially in light of the current economy.
“BBX, California’s largest indoor Black Family Reunion, promises to add a new look to its signature events, which include the Tom Bradley Business Institute, the Tastin’ Black Culture Food Court, West Coast Black Music Festival, West Coast GospeLive, Kids World, The Health, Sports and Fitness Pavilion, Black Writers On Tour, the Hair Show and Auto Land.
